Some stories claim that it is large enough to crush the hull of a galleon, which would make it at least 100 feet (30 meters) long, and possibly much larger. There is no real evidence of the existence of such a creature, so it is impossible to say for sure how big it might be. The kraken is a mythical sea creature that is said to be very large and have large eyes and fins protruding from its body. ![]() So while we cannot say for certain whether or not colossal squids are friendly, it seems unlikely that they are particularly friendly creatures. They also have a massive body size, weighing in at around half a ton. For example, they are known to have razor-sharp tentacle hooks which they use to capture prey. However, based on what we do know about them, it seems likely that they are not particularly friendly creatures. There has not been enough research conducted on colossal squids to say for certain whether or not they are friendly creatures.
