The problems come around when there are subtler things - like the notes on a pizzicato Double Bass, electric or a Bass Guitar riff. I've been doing my own practicing over the past months to try and better identify the simpler things (chords, melody, instruments, tempo) and for the most part I have prevented any worsening of these skills and with relative ease I can do these things. Ultimately, hearing better would help (obviously) but it's much easier said than done. Plus, it's not covered by either my insurance or the government health programme, so it is really expensive. I could go through the process of an invasive surgical procedure, but whether it works is not guaranteed and the risk factor is rather high. I can lip-read perfectly fine, and I just turn on subtitles on the TV or video games. In my day-to-day life, it isn't really a problem. As I get older it's just get worse - like my uncle, father, sister and grandparents. I've seen an audiologist a few times and they tested a hearing aid but it just caused tinnitus and only improved my actual hearing by negligible amounts. MuseScore Development (if you would like to create plugins or directly help development of the software)Ĭlassical Memes (for all your classical funny-business) Memes are fun! Here is not the place for them.ĭownload requests to users with Pro accounts are not permitted. Preferably no memes or macros, there's a subreddit for classical memes already linked down below, and I'm sure they'd appreciate it. Don't know how to do something? Just ask! We're here to help, and if we can't, there's either someone who can or we'll find a link to help! There are no dumb questions, just the fear of being embarrassed. Should you find a tutorial or create one of your own that would be helpful to the readers here, please post it! Tutorials are welcome! There are links below to other subreddits that are certainly helpful for making music, but maybe not specifically to Musescore. Please be respectful in comments and constructive criticism should OP ask for it. Hello everyone! This is a subreddit for the free and open source music notation software MuseScore!
